Rechavia is a central Jerusalem neighbourhood laid out in the 1920s as a garden suburb, long associated with the city’s German-Jewish intelligentsia. Discussed here as part of a post on Jerusalem in the British Mandate period, which traces the neighbourhood’s planning and architecture.
