The Negev is Israel’s southern desert region, covering more than half the country’s land area between the Judean hills and the Red Sea at Eilat. Discussed here as part of a post on the Nabatean cities (Avdat, Mamshit, Shivta, Haluza) that lined the Incense Route across the Negev highlands.
