King Solomon’s Pillars
King Solomon’s Pillars are the towering sandstone formations at Timna Park in the southern Arava near Eilat. The name is a relic of a long-disproved theory linking the area’s copper mines to the biblical king. Discussed here as part of a day at Timna.
