Copper Snake
The copper snake, or Nehushtan, is the bronze serpent described in the Book of Numbers as raised by Moses for the healing of the Israelites in the desert. Discussed here as part of a day at Timna, where a small copper serpent figurine was found in the Egyptian-period Hathor shrine.
