Zichron Yaakov
Zichron Yaakov is a late-19th-century town on the southern Carmel ridge, founded in 1882 with backing from Baron Edmond de Rothschild. One of the First Aliyah agricultural colonies, it sits at the head of the Carmel wine country. Discussed here as part of a post on Zichron Yaakov and surroundings.
