Sepphoris
Sepphoris (Zippori) is a Roman-Byzantine Lower Galilee town known for its mosaic floors and its role as a Sanhedrin seat where the Mishna was codified. Discussed here as part of a post pairing it with the Beit Shearim necropolis.
