The Miracle of the Swine, recounted in the synoptic gospels, took place on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee. Jesus is said to have cast demons out of a possessed man into a herd of pigs that then rushed into the lake, discussed here as part of a post on Christianity around the Sea of Galilee.
