Mazkeret Batya
Mazkeret Batya is one of the earliest Jewish farming towns of the pre-state period, founded in 1883 by Bilu pioneers on the southern coastal plain. Baron Edmond de Rothschild backed the village; it’s discussed here as part of the post on Beer Sheva and the southern coastal plain.
