Black Arrow
Operation Black Arrow was an Israeli military action against Egyptian positions in the Gaza Strip in February 1955. It is often cited as a turning point in the lead-up to the 1956 Sinai Campaign, and is discussed here as part of a day on the founding of the Negev settlements.
