Rashbi
Rashbi, the acronym for Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, is the 2nd-century Talmudic sage traditionally credited as author of the Zohar. Discussed here as part of a central Upper Galilee post that takes in his tomb at Meron, a major pilgrimage site on the festival of Lag Ba’omer.
