Shalom! My name is Samuel, and I’m an award-winning licensed tour guide and educator in Israel.
I moved here in 2010 and have fallen in love with this small country. It is filled with sites of immense historical interest and importance, stunning natural scenery and a culinary scene which is as delicious as it is diverse. Whether you want to laze on a beach, immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of Jerusalem, float in saline waters at the lowest point on Earth, hike through the desert or party the night away in Tel Aviv’s bars and clubs, there is something here for everyone.
I specialise in tailoring a visit to Israel to meet your specific interests and needs and promise to take you on a journey which is as entertaining as much as it is informative. In fact, I was recognised by the Travel & Hospitality Awards as ‘Tour Guide of the Year in Israel‘ and by the Luxury Travel Guide as the ‘‘Tour Guide of the Year for Tel Aviv‘. I have also been awarded a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice (formerly known as the Certificate of Excellence) five years running.
I’ve guided visitors to Israel of every religious background (including none), over 100 different nationalities and from babies to retirees. I’ve welcomed senior business leaders of major companies, academics from the world’s leading institutions, religious leaders, politicians, journalists, and celebrities (Maroon 5, Alanis Morissette and The Kooks are among those I’m at liberty to mention). But I also guide families, couples and individuals who are just here on a regular vacation! I really enjoy this variety of clientele, and making sure that every trip is just right for you.
This website will tell you a little about me and my guiding philosophy and also gives you the chance to read some testimonials or TripAdvisor reviews from a plethora of satisfied visitors. If you like what you see, please do get in touch and I will be happy to draw up a draft itinerary and provide you with a quote.
Also part of the site is my blog of my experiences on the tour guide course and from general travels around Israel, together with a gallery of some of my favourite photographs. Feel free to browse both for inspiration.
I look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you in Israel!
