How to manage cookies on this site
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you want to accept, decline, or manage cookies. You can reopen those choices at any time using the small cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page — it opens the same preferences panel.
You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings. The instructions differ per browser (Chrome · Safari · Firefox · Edge). Note that blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.

Analytics tells me which itineraries and articles people read, what device they’re on, and what country (city-level at most). It is never used to identify you individually or to advertise to you elsewhere.

Third-party features
If you watch an embedded video (e.g. a YouTube clip), that provider may set its own cookies. I have no control over them — please consult their own cookie policy. To prevent these, decline the relevant category in the banner or use your browser’s third-party-cookie controls.
What this site does NOT do
- No advertising trackers. No Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads, no remarketing.
- No fingerprinting.
- No selling or sharing of your browsing behaviour with data brokers.
- No cookies set before you’ve made a consent choice (except the strictly-essential ones above).
Updates to this Cookie Policy
When new tools are added to the site, I update this list. Material changes are also announced on the homepage for 30 days.
